Our Team

Angela Frame

Service Manager

I am the Service Manager here at Foundation Early Learning Coorparoo. I have worked in the childcare industry for the past thirteen years, two of which have been with Foundation Early Learning.

I am very passionate about supporting children as they grow and develop during their early years. I love being able to watch children explore through play and reach those milestones at their own pace. Together with my wonderful team of Educators we are dedicated to providing a solid platform for the lifelong learning our children will take on.

I enjoy getting outdoors and being active on my weekends. I also love to travel and have spent a few years living and working in Italy.

I look forward to welcoming your family here at Foundation Early Learning Coorparoo.

Lucy Turner

Nursery Educator/ Float Educator

My name is Lucy Turner, I have been in the childcare Industry for approximately nine years and am diploma qualified. Most of my experience in the industry has been in the nursery.

I am a wife and a mother to three beautiful children - a daughter and two sons - who I adore. I was a stay at home mother for 16 years and am very proud of my children.

I’m now lucky enough to have five grandchildren and look after three of them regularly. I value family life and have raised my children to feel the same.  In my spare time my husband and I enjoy walking and the occasional movie.

I have always loved children and want to be a positive influence in as many little lives as I can so I am thankful to work in the childcare industry and to be part of Foundation Early Learning.

Andrew Cosier

Float Educator

I hail from a town in England called Luton, which is in the beautiful county of Bedfordshire. I have many interests which include performing in musical theatre, 70’s and 80’s music, football, cricket and relaxing on the beach.

I have been involved in the childcare industry for around 12 years. For several years I worked as a chef for centres in England; however, five years ago, shortly after I arrived in Australia, I started my Cert 3 in Early Childhood and have never looked back. I am now studying for further qualifications and find studying and working in the industry very rewarding. I am hoping I can teach the children I work with good values and help them to grow up and be proud of what they can achieve in the first years of their precious life.

Divya Tyagi

Lead Educator in Toddler 1

I became an Early Childhood Educator because I always loved caring for and nurturing babies.  I have completed my Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I love working at Foundation Early Learning because it's such a fun and enjoyable place to be with other educators and the children.

All my co-workers support each other professionally and make the environment healthy and enjoyable.

The best part of my job is when I get to know the children and their families - it is really rewarding for me. I always look forward to making unforgettable memories and I know I will create a lot at Foundation Early Learning Coorparoo childcare centre.

Tasneem

Nursery Educator

Hi my name is Tasneem. I am originally from India but spent most of my life in Dubai and moved to Brisbane in 2014.

I enjoy being with children. It is always fun to be around children because they remind me of my childhood and the fun adventure that it was.

I have been in child care for more than three years and I believe that children learn a lot through play. I find that providing children with long periods of free play gives them the opportunity to practice, master and refine their skills.

Outside work I love spending time with my family and, in my free time, I enjoy doing candle decoration and henna art.

Ikuko Barison

Float Educator

Hello I am Ikuko Barison and I'm very excited to be working at Foundation Early Learning Cooparoo.

I am from Japan and have been living in Australia since 2005. I have extensive experience working with children in both countries.

I gained my Diploma in Children's Services in Japan where I worked in childcare for four years. When I came to Australia I worked as a nanny before starting a role on the Gold Coast as an educator.  I worked at the same center for six years as an assistant educator in a room with 2-3 year-olds and also with kindergarten aged children. I was also a floating support educator, working with all age groups.

In 2010 I completed an Australian Certificate III in Children's Services to improve my understanding of the Australian childcare system and learnt so much about how to help young children develop.

In my home life I am married and have two beautiful boys who are 3 and 15 months old. I have a strong interest in learning more about different cultures, and also in sharing my Japanese culture, food and language with the children. My favourite hobbies are travelling locally and overseas, and tasting and cooking foods from around the world.

I look forward to a challenging and exciting year working at Foundation Early Learning Coorparoo.

Clare Smith

Lead Educator in the Nursery Room

Hi, my name is Clare and I am the lead educator in the Nursery Room.

I have lived in Brisbane my whole life and love the city, although I lived and travelled in Europe for two years and also found it a great experience.

I have always enjoyed working with children and have been doing it professionally since graduating from high school.

I have now worked in the Childcare Sector for two years with Foundation Early Learning.

I love teaching children but find that they also teach us through their explorations when they’re in a supportive environment. In the Nursery Room we nurture children but also allow them to explore independently.

Maggie Jacobs

Lead Educator Toddler 2

Hi, my name is Maggie. I hold a diploma in Early childhood and Education and have worked in child care for six years now. I am currently studying my bachelor of education to further my knowledge in the educational industry.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and being creative as well as playing basketball and netball. My family background is of aboriginal descent, specifically the Noongar tribe, which originates from Perth, but I have lived most of my life in Darwin and have visited many traditional communities in Arnhem Land.

Gagandeep Kaur

Float Educator

I am Gagandeep Kaur and I am originally from Punjab in India.

I have been working with children since 2011. I started working in primary school and taught in high school in India as well. I love to spend time with children and teach them values that will brighten their future.

I joined the child care industry in Australia last year and I am loving being a part of it - I get the opportunity to learn so many new things.

I believe teachers should always be learning themselves and find I learn every day and every moment.

In my spare time I love traveling and watching movies.
